Special book date for city author A LOCAL author and former school teacher will be signing copies of her self-published book in York next weekend.
Pam Young, who worked in infant and special needs schools across the city between 1973 and 2007, released Special People, a collection of her memories and the children she taught, last June.
Pam will be signing copies of her book in Waterstones, High Ousegate, on Saturday, October 9 from 11am. Copies of the book cost £7.99, for more information, email pamric@live.co.uk.
