OMID Djalili is to play the Grand Opera House, York, on February 20, on the final leg of his No Agenda tour.
Djalili addresses such subjects as stereotypes, ethnicity and relationships in a highenergy show featuring impressions, dance routines and occasional verbal outbursts.
The tour set out from Oxford two nights ago and concludes on March 6, maintaining a hectic schedule for Djalili, who last year starred in the animated movie Over The Hedge and filmed BBC Films' The Allotment and Pirates Of The Caribbean III for release this summer.
He is in pre-production for his own BBC 1 series, The Omid Djalili Show; the first time anywhere in the world that a British-Iranian has been given his own primetime show. No Agenda will be launched on DVD this year on a date to be confirmed.
Tickets for his 8pm show in York cost £16 on 0870 606 3595. Please note there will be no support.
