BILL Bailey is back from his travels to the other side of the world with his new show Limboland.
Stand-up Bill has been spending his autumn in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong, mulling over “the gap between how we imagine our lives to be and how they really are”.
Over here, you may feel in limbo as you wait for Limboland’s musical deconstructions, whimsical flights of fancy and general grumbles to land at a theatre near you, but if you can hang on for almost a year, wild-haired Bill will be playing a brace of shows at Scarborough Spa’s Grand Hall on November 11 and 12 next year.
The surrealist comedian, musician, actor and presenter starred in Black Books and has appeared on such panel shows as BBC2’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks and QI. Next year he forms part of a Scarborough Spa comedy line-up that includes Noel Fielding on February 6; Fascinating Aida, February 21; Stewart Lee, May 15; Alan Carr, July 10; Roy “Chubby” Brown, August 1, and Jimmy Carr, November 7.
Tickets for Bill Bailey: Limboland go on sale tomorrow at £25 on 01723 821888 or at scarboroughspa.co.uk
