MASTER of ceremonies James Christopher is operating an Easter egg amnesty at the next Black Comedy @ The Black Swan night in York.
"Bring your unwanted eggs on Tuesday and chuckle off those chocolate-induced calories," he says. "The eggs will go to the winner of our regular joke competition - and don't worry, it's not just me being cheap; there'll still be the usual bottle of wine."
Headlining will be the delicious Sarah Millican, a multi-award winning comedian who writes for the BBC, headlines all around the country and gigs regularly at The Comedy Store and Jongleurs.
"She really is one of the treasures of the northern comedy circuit, so why not indulge yourself?" says James.
In support will be musical comedy from Bertie Bingham, Geordie banter from Carl Hutchinson and the deadpan wit of Ian Smith.
Doors open at 8.15pm at the Black Swan Inn, Peasholme Green. Admission £2.
