Be warned. Book early or arrive in good time for this weekend's bill at The Other Side Comedy Club in York.
"Sunday's show is another of our Bank Holiday specials, which always sell out, " says promoter Toby Clouston-Jones. "As usual, we feature three top comedians, Simon Bligh, Andy Askins and Markus Birdman, who could each headline any comedy club in the country."
Bligh has twice won the Time Out Comedian of the Year award, and this former Perrier Award nominee has appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You and The Stand Up Show.
"Simon has been at the top of the comedy tree for almost two decades now with his humorous look at even the most mundane of topics, " says Toby.
Askins began his career as a Butlins Redcoat and toured as a musician before turning to comedy.
"Andy has just finished filming The World Stands Up for Paramount Television, which came about from supporting Dave Spikey on his last UK tour, " says Toby. "He's a brilliant comedy songwriter and his version of Dido's Thank You has to be seen to be believed."
Birdman returns to the City Screen Basement Bar as the evening's comedy referee, fresh from touring the Far East.
Doors open at 7.30pm for the 8pm start; tickets £8, concessions £7, on 0870 758 3219.
