A NEW exhibition by up-and-coming British artist Fran Copeman has opened at the Norman Rea Gallery at the University of York.
Fran Copeman is a London-based artist who graduated from Goldsmiths in 2009. She said: “The work examines the distortion created when something, in particular when someone, is restricted.”
Run entirely by students, the gallery hosts exhibitions throughout the year and promotes the work of both student and professional artists.
The exhibition, Resistance Is Not Futile, is free and open to all. It will be on show until March 9 on weekdays from 9am to 5pm.
