THE York Youth Council has put together an exhibition which is on show this week at the City Screen cinema in York.
The exhibition of artwork and photographs was created to challenge negative opinions of young people.
The exhibition forms part of Being Young In York project, which started this week as part of the youth council’s year-long Positive Image campaign.
Screening of the film The Breakfast Club on Tuesday was the first of several events being organised, including a vintage fashion show on June 4 in York city centre and the York Youth Festival on July 16.
York Youth Council is a group of young people from all over the city who represent the voice of young people in York. They work to make a difference and positive changes for the young people of York.
