YORK photographer Simon Palmour is heading to the Big Smoke in the autumn. His work will be shown at the Lumen gallery, in Tavistock Place, London, from November 22 to December 13.
“This will be the first time I’ve exhibited in London for 15 years: a chance for me to show the work which I’ve been showing successfully in York for the last few years,” says Simon. “There’ll also be some of my latest artwork, including a series on the Yorkshire Wolds.”
If you are a planning a journey south, the nearest Underground stations to Lumen are King’s Cross and Russell Square. The gallery is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm; check lumenurc.org.uk for weekend opening. Simon, of Hob Moor Drive, exhibited at Grays Court, Chapter House Street, York, last year.
