YORK Castle Museum's costume curator, Josie Sheppard, will open the doors of a Victorian lady's wardrobe in the Corsets & Crinolines Study Day on November 4.
From 10am to noon and 2pm to 4pm, she will give an insight into the clothes, fabrics and accessories that were worn by fashionable women in Queen Victoria's reign.
There will be a limit of 15 people per two-hour session. Tickets cost £10, concessions £8, including museum entry; booking is recommended on 01904 650333.
