ENIGMATIC satirist and debutant film director Chris Morris will take part in a question-and-answer session live via satellite after tomorrow evening’s screening of Four Lions (15) at City Screen, York.
The Coney Street cinema is one of 15 nationwide that will show Morris in conversation with host Charlie Brooker, actors Kayvan Novak, Adeel Akhtar and Riz Ahmed and writers Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain at The Ritzy, City Screen’s sister cinema in London.
Doors will open at 6.10pm for the 6.30pm showing of Morris’s darkly humorous tale of four British-born Jihadists ineptly planning their martyrdom.
The satellite event has been organised by Optimum Releasing and Picturehouse Cinemas, who are extending Four Lions’ run at City Screen into a third week.
