CITY SCREEN, York plays host to three films tomorrow as part of the We Love Anime Festival.

Based on the Nintendo DS game, Professor Layton And The Eternal Diva (U) is an adventure starring the Professor, his loyal assistant Luke and a new cast of colourful characters, showing at 2.30pm.

Mardock Scramble: Ist Compression & 2nd Combustion (18), at 4.30pm, is set in a futuristic society where a 15-year-old girl named Rune Balot is rescued after nearly being killed. She is given the choice to continue living as a cyborg to help investigate the men who tried to kill her.

The festival trio concludes at 9pm with Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D (12A), Youichi Mori’s computer-animated Japanese story of the hunt for a missing student, the sole survivor of a twisted experiment to unlock the secrets of eternal youth on the Tekken universe.
