JAMES Watkins, director of new film version of The Woman In Black, will host a question-and-answer session after tomorrow night’s preview screening at City Screen, York.
The Coney Street cinema is presenting this special event in tandem with Volkswagen See Film Differently and Momentum Pictures.
Erstwhile Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe leads the cast in this classic ghost story, playing a lawyer forced to leave his young son and travel to a remote village to attend to the affairs of the recently deceased owner of Eel Marsh House.
The Woman In Black also stars Ciaran Hinds and York actress Janet McTeer and has been adapted for the screen from Susan Hill’s novel by Jane Goldman.
Courtesy of Volkswagen, those attending tomorrow’s screening can enjoy an exclusive exhibition of film stills, as well as complimentary drinks and popcorn from 8pm. The film will start at 8.30pm; box office, 0871 902 5726.
