YORK’S first Radical Cabaret night will be held at the Priory Street Centre, Priory Street, York, on Saturday at 8pm.
Performing for “your delectation and inspiration” will be York comedian, poet, artist and songwriter Rory Motion; York “agit-swing” band Reason Breeds Monsters; anarchist storyteller, poet, comic and librettist Martin Riley; and University of York politics student, university Green Party press officer, Palestine activist and singer-songwriter Josiah Mortimer.
“Don’t miss the night when everyone who's anyone and someone get together,” says event promoter Rich Plane. “It’ll be an evening of entertaining subversion, brought to you by York Social (yorksocial.org) and RadStats 13.”
Admission is £5 on the door, with a “relatively cheap” bar on the night.
