KING Creosote, the alias for Scottish singer-songwriter Kenny Anderson, has sold out Saturday’s gig at The Duchess, York.
The 2011 Mercury Music Prize nominee from Fife will be performing in a duo and will be supported at the 7.30pm show by Gummi Bako. Last month, King Creosote released the third and final instalment of his Buff Tracks subscription series of seven-inch EPs on Fence Records, recorded under the moniker of Jokes with Jo Schornikow, the singer and keyboard player from New York band The Shivers.
Jokes With Punchlines features three new songs on electric guitar, accordion and two voices.
