AMERICAN singer-songwriter James Taylor will play Leeds First Direct Arena on Saturday, September 27 as part of his first British arena tour in more than three years.
Over the course of his long career, Taylor has earned 40 gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards and five Grammy awards for a catalogue running from 1970’s Sweet Baby James to 2008’s Covers.
Taylor was signed to The Beatles’ Apple Records in 1968 and in 1971 he was featured on the cover of Time magazine, heralded as the harbinger of the singer-songwriter era. He has since sold 100 million albums.
