MAX Raptor, the incendiary Burton-upon-Trent four-piece, parade their melodic, socially aware brand of 21st century British punk at The Duchess in York on January 22.
Last November, they released their debut album, Mother’s Ruin, a set of modern British rock songs produced by Enter Shikari and Gallows producer Dan Weller at Lincolnshire’s Chapel Studios and issued through Naim Edge Records.
Among the stand-out tracks are the single Breakers, picked by BBC Radio One tastemaker Zane Lowe as his Next Hype record, and England Breathes, whose video was directed by Lewis Cater after his eye-catching work for Kodaline and Enter Shikari.
Max Raptor are touring with Hertfordshire’s Fort Hope, formed from the ashes of alt-rockers My Passion.
