YORKSHIRE singer-songwriter John Lennon McCullagh played The Duchess in York.
The Doncaster teenager is on his first headline tour, having played the O2 Academy in Sheffield before moving on to his York debut.
The 16-year-old has further dates lined up in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Kirkcaldy, Gourock, Banbury, London and then six gigs on his first trip to Germany.
He recorded his album North South Divide in only one day in Pulp’s old studio in Sheffield.
He was supported at Saturday night’s gig by The Valmores, Michael Johnson and Tommy Coyle.
