LANTERNS On The Lake, the elegiac, meditative sound of Newcastle and the North East coast, will play The Duchess in York on April 7 and the Adelphi in Hull on April 17 on next month’s tour.
They will be re-promoting Until The Colours Run, last year’s album of shimmering guitars and violins and dream-pop electronics on the Bella Union label, exemplified by lyricist and singer Hazel Wilde’s poignant reflection, Another Tale From Another English Town.
Lanterns On the Lake last performed at The Duchess in January 2012. Tickets for their return can be booked online at theduchessyork.co.uk
