SINGER-SONGWRITER Nerina Pallot returns to her regular December destination of Nunnington Hall, Nunnington, near Helmsey, on Saturday and Sunday night.
The BRIT and Ivor Novello Award nominee first played a brace of shows in the Oak Hall in 2009 and has become a festive fixture with her soulful and melodic music amid the Christmas decorations.
Pallot can cherry-pick songs from four albums, 2001’s Dear Frustrated Superstar, 2005’s Fires, 2009’s The Graduate and 2011’s Year Of The Wolf, as well as this year’s project, The Year Of The EPs.
On January 27, she released The Hold Tight EP, the first in a series of 12 EPs to be issued throughout 2014 on the last Monday of each month, accompanied by at least one gig a month, in a different British or Irish city,the first of which took place at St Pancras Old Church, London.
At the end of it all, she plans to release both an album of fan favourites from each EP plus a whole new album proper.
