MOSTLY Autumn return to their home city of York tomorrow for a special Christmas show at the Grand Opera House to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their first album, For All We Shared.

“A stunning light and sound show will accompany our trip back through our past seven studio albums, and we’ll also promote the release of our new triple album Pass The Clock, a compilation of re-mastered songs from this body of work,” says Bryan Josh, the heart and guitar of the eight-piece band, who specialise in emotionally charged rock with Celtic undertones.

This year has seen the release of two further albums with Mostly Autumn connections. In July, Bryan issued his long-awaited solo debut, Josh & Co. Limited’s Through These Eyes, available through www.mostlyautumnrecords.com Among the “And Co” contributors was Mostly Autumn vocalist Olivia Sparnenn, who in turn brought out the album Below The Radar with her band Breathing Space in August, with Mostly Autumn’s Iain Jennings and Liam Davison among her fellow band members. Bryan and Olivia have a busy weekend in store. In addition to tomorrow's gig, they each have an engagement at The Duchess, in Stonebow, where Josh & Co. Limited play tonight and Breathing Space perform on Sunday.

Meanwhile, tomorrow’s 8pm concert will be special for another reason too: the Help For Heroes charity will be present and the band will dedicate their song Heroes Never Die to soldier Ben Parkinson, who was seriously injured on duty in Afghanistan, and several of his comrades who lost their lives. Ben will make an appearance on what is sure to be an emotional night.

Tickets cost £20 on 0844 847 2322 or online at www.grandoperahouse.co.uk
