THE Fibbers Battle of the Bands Grand Final in York will be held tomorrow.

After five months of combat, the competition is down to the final five: Littlemores, Kill The Captain, Maybe She’s A Clone, The Shadracks and Lost From Atlas.

Doors open at Fibbers at 7pm and the first band will be on stage at 7.30pm, after the running order is decided on the night.

Come the 11.30pm finish, the secret panel of judges, including national promoters, record label reps and local media, will have decided who should win £1,000 in cash plus slots at the Moor Music Festival, Copmanthorpe Carnival and Galtres Festival.

“Please get down early and give all the bands your support, not just your mates/family; this event is always a special night for local music,” say the organisers.
