FOR one night only naturally, One Night Only will play a free home-town gig at their local boozer, The Royal Oak, in Helmsley, to mark the arrival of their second album.
The self-titled One Night Only will be released through Vertigo Records on August 23, preceded by the single Say You Don’t Want It on August 16.
Recorded in Brussels and produced by Suede and Pulp producer Ed Buller, the album is a “quantum leap” for George Craig and co, according to the band. “It’s a record with bigger and more confident tunes than the boys making their debut could have possibly imagined, and a feeling of being catapulted into something tremendously exciting and perhaps a little troubling,” proclaims the album press release.
Tickets for the August 17 show are available for free only through the band’s website, onenightonlyonline.com, and will not be for sale.
One Night Only, album launch, The Royal Oak, Helmsley, August 17, doors open at 7pm.
