FORGET the pantomime kitsch! Sleeping Beauty is a powerful tale of death and rebirth, certainly when told by storyteller Daniel Morden with violinist Oliver Wilson-Dickson and guitarist Dylan Fowler at the National Centre for Early Music, York, on Tuesday, May 10.
At 7.30pm, Morden breathes new life into this haunting story, presenting it in tandem with the Greek myth of Alcestis and underscoring the tales with live music by Wilson-Dickson and Fowler, who last visited the NCEM as part of the Téa Hodzic Trio.
This show is not suitable for children under 12. Tickets can be booked on 01904 658338 or ncem.co.uk
