THE Last Friday concert series will welcome the return of Ad Hoc Baroque on June 24 for Another Cabinet Of Music Delights at the Unitarian Chapel, St Saviourgate, York.
After their well-received appearance last year, recorder players Ann Betterton and Geoff Egginton, violinists Megan Russ and David Brereton, viola da gamba player Jillian Johnson and harpsichord and organ continuo player Christopher Roberts will be joined by soprano Sarah Kelly to continue exploring their imaginary 17th-century Gentleman’s Music Library of German and Italian musical gems.
The 12.30pm programme of works by Buxtehude, Tellemann, Corelli, Scarlatti and Fasch will last for an hour. Tickets and programmes will cost £5, concessions £3, on the door.
