ANDREW Gourlay conducts Manchester’s Hallé Orchestra in a popular orchestral concert at the York Barbican tomorrow.
The 7.30pm programme comprises Shostakovich’s Festive Overture; Bizet’s Carmen Suite No.1, Prelude & Aragonaise; Sibelius’s Finlandia; Walton’s Henry V, Charge & Battle; Coates’s Calling All Workers; Stravinsky’s The Firebird – Danse Infernale; Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Finale; Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture; Copland’s Two Movements from Billy The Kid; Delius’s Walk To The Paradise Garden; and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.
