THE Chinese Calendar unfolds in the York Late Music family concert on Saturday night, performed by Panoply at the Unitarian Chapel, St Saviourgate, York.

Panoply bring each animal to life by using a variety of delicate instruments, including guitar, mandolin, Chinese and Latin percussion, piano and voice.
The Chinese Calendar will be preceded by Bobby Chen’s Chinese folk song arrangements and a pre-concert talk by composer Christopher Gander at 6.45pm.
Tickets for the 7.30pm concert cost £8, concessions £6, on the door or online at latemusic.org
