THE original line-up of The Wiggles is reuniting for a British concert tour that plays the Grand Opera House, York, on Wednesday at 1pm and 4.30pm.

The founder Yellow Wiggle, Greg Page, has returned for the Australian children’s entertainers’ 21st anniversary after being away from the fab four for five years as a result of illness.

“I’m excited to be back with my friends and entertaining our incredible fans again,” says Greg, as he looks forward to encouraging children to wiggle along to Hot Potato, Fruit Salad and Rock A Bye Your Bear.

Blue Wiggle, Anthony Field, says: “We love touring the UK and Ireland: it’s our favourite part of the year! We’re all looking forward to seeing our old friends, as well as meeting some new ones.”

Purple Wiggle, Jeff Fatt, is similarly enthused: “This show will be worth staying awake for.”

Joining The Wiggles in the new show will be Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and the Wiggly dancers.
