Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence are teaming up for a new TV show.
The Frasier star and the Bad Boys actor will play Chicago lawyers in the as-yet-untitled buddy comedy, reported TVLine.com
The pair are vastly different but develop "a partnership and friendship, both of which impact their professional and personal lives".
Kelsey, 58, said he felt "honoured and blessed" to have landed the FX series, which will be written and executive produced by Full House's Bob Boyett and Designing Women's Robert Horn.
The actor, whose other television comedies include Cheers, Back To You and Hank, went on: "Martin is arguably one of the funniest men alive and after some success in drama I thought it might be time to try my hand at comedy. I am thrilled to have this extraordinary team show me the ropes. All kidding aside, I don't think a better bunch of talent exists."
Martin, 48, said he was "looking forward to making a good show with a lot of laughs".
