Amanda Bynes seems to have settled into fashion school.
The 27-year-old actress attended her first class at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) at the school's Orange County campus, reported E! News.
"She was very nice, friendly and chatting with her classmates," a source said.
The source also admitted that Amanda, who enrolled at the educational institution weeks ago, was "originally going to be a fashion design major but has now decided to pursue merchandise product development. She is enrolled part-time for the winter quarter."
Since her release from treatment in early December, Amanda has been trying to get her life back on track and has been seen spending time with her parents on shopping trips and a visit to Disneyland.
An attorney for the Hairspray and Easy A actress said that she was "doing very well and re-establishing a close and loving relationship with her family".
The former child star was charged last May with reckless endangerment and marijuana possession after building managers called police and accused her of smoking the drug in the lobby of her Manhattan apartment.
The drugs-related case against her will be dismissed if she stays out of trouble for six months and goes to counselling twice a week for six months.
