CHRISTOPHER Biggins and Keith Harris will star in Hull New Theatre’s 2013-2014 pantomime, Jack And The Beanstalk.
Staged by pantomime heavyweights Qdos Entertainment, regular producer of the New Theatre panto, the show will present Biggins in his Hull debut in the role of Dame Trot.
Ventriloquist Harris inevitably will be accompanied by his perennial puppets, Orville the duck and Cuddles the monkey. He was last seen in a Hull panto four years ago, when he played Smee in Peter Pan, and Jack And The Beanstalk will be his 49th appearance in pantomime.
“Christopher Biggins is an extremely popular pantomime performer so we’re thrilled to welcome him to Hull New Theatre,” says general manager Janice Wincott.
“Along with Keith Harris, who returns by popular demand, we’re certain to continue the Hull tradition of a laugh-out- loud family festive treat.”
Jack And The Beanstalk will run at the Hull New Theatre from Thursday, December 5 to Sunday, January 5 2014. Tickets can be booked 01482 300300 or at hullcc.gov.uk/hullnewtheatre
