Poetry Slam champion Hollie McNish to perform at City Screen
HOLLIE McNish, the 2009 UK Poetry Slam champion, is to perform in The Basement at City Screen, York, as part of York International Women’s Week tonight at 7.45pm.
Hollie, who also finished third in the world at the Poetry Slam finals in Paris, will be supported by York poets and musicians.
She has appeared at Glastonbury and the Royal Albert Hall and on BBC Radio 4, Channel 4, BBC2 and MTV, which anointed her as “Chick of the Week”.
