Ebor Players have selected King Arthur, A Pantomime Adventure In Camelot for their Christmas 2007 show.
Written by Paul Reakes, the panto will run from December 11 to 15 at Bishopthorpe Village Hall, at 7.30pm nightly plus a 2.30pm Saturday matinee.
Since 2003, the Players have been alternating traditional pantomimes with more unusual scripts, such as Dracula, The Pantomime and Panto At The OK Corral, and in a new development for this year, an extra show, on Tuesday evening, is to be introduced "due to the overwhelming demand for tickets".
This will be the Players' 14th pantomime since their inception in November 1994 and the latest in a line of sell-out shows. As is now traditional, the last night will feature cabaret-style seating and a bar and consequently will be adults only.
Ticket sales will begin in September and more details will be released nearer the time. For more information, visit www. eborplayers. net or e-mail mail@eborplayers. net.
