COLLEGE students are putting on a new production of Alice at Castle Howard next month, writes Alain Tolhurst. The students, who are studying for a BTEC in Performing Arts at Leeds City College, will be putting on a large-scale outdoor version of the classic Lewis Carroll story of Alice In Wonderland.
Teachers and students have raised £14,000 to pay for the ambitious production, and are still looking to make to it to their total of £20,000. Alice will be on from May 22 to 31, with tickets available by phoning 0113 216 2232, priced at £15 for adults and £10 for children/concessions.
