REHEARSALS start today for Guys And Dolls, this summer’s Stage Experience show at the Grand Opera House, York.
Acting, dancing and singing talent aged ten to 21 will be taking part in the full-scale musical production, under the direction of Louise Denison, who will be assisted by York actor Sam Coulson.
Sam, from Acomb, made his mark in several Stage Experience youth theatre projects at the Opera House, most notably in the lead role of mechanic Don in Summer Holiday in 2005 and shop junior Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop Of Horrors in 2006. He is now studying at the Royal Academy of Drama in London.
The 2010 Stage Experience will run from today until August 7, culminating in four public performances of Frank Loesser’s musical from August 5 to 7 at 7.30pm nightly plus a 2.30pm Saturday matinee.
