WEST End musical star Twinnie-Lee Moore is coming home to York to teach three dance workshops on Sunday at York Dance Works, 11 Redeness Street, Layerthorpe.

She will hold West End workshop sessions for six to 11 year olds from 12 noon to 1.15pm, 12 to 21 year olds, 1.30pm to 3.30pm, and 21 year olds and above, 3.30pm to 5pm.

Twinnie-Lee has worked on many West End shows, playing opposite Marti Pellow, Jimmy Osmond, Gary Wilmot and Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams.

She is at present the poster face of the London production of Chicago on the London Underground stations, and from September 24 the former Joseph Rowntree School pupil will be appearing as Jazmin in Flashdance at the Shaftsbury Theatre.

“I’ve been lucky enough to work with top choreographers such as Arlene Phillips, Karen Bruce and American choreographer Andy Blankenbuler,” said Twinnie-Lee. “For anyone who loves to dance or just wants to keep fit, Sunday’s workshops are an opportunity not to be missed. Just come along; there’s no need to book.”
