YORK Shakespeare Project is looking for a director for its next show, an outdoor production of Much Ado About Nothing in Rowntree Park next summer.
The project’s chairman, Coun Janet Looker, says: “We’re delighted to be planning an openair staging of this romantic comedy and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic director.”

Founded as a charitable trust in 2002, York Shakespeare Project is committed to performing all 37 of Shakespeare’s known plays in York over a 20-year period. So far, the project has produced 17 plays, including three parts of Henry VI in 2007 and A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo
