ROGER Llewellyn returns with a new Sherlock Holmes investigation in a wryly humorous tale of murder, mystery and the occult where the world’s greatest detective refuses to leave the stage.
Arthur Conan Doyle has tired of his intolerably arrogant Sherlock Holmes and so he creates the malevolent Professor Moriarty to dispose of him. However, Doyle’s dangerous strategy, combined with his spiritualist passion for raising the dead, has rather more bizarre and dramatic consequences than he foresaw.
“This fantasy is a light-hearted illustration of the battle between an author’s intentions and the rebellious personalities and ambitions of his literary creations,” says Roger.
Written by David Stuart Davies, this spine-tingling new play is directed by Gareth Armstrong and features original music by Simon Slater.
