DREAMBOATS And Petticoats The Musical will return to the Grand Opera House, York, from June 25 to 30.
Inspired by million-selling albums Dreamboats And Petticoats One, Two and Three, the show is set In 1961, when emotions run high as young musicians Norman (Ben James-Ellis) and Bobby (Scott Bruton) compete to win a national song-writing competition – and the attention of the gorgeous Sue (Amy Diamond).
Once Bobby discovers that shy Laura (Elizabeth Carter) is no slouch on the piano, love and rock’n’roll fame beckons.
Look out for Terry Winstanley, a contestant in The X Factor last year, who will play two roles, Phil and Older Bobby.
Dreamboats And Petticoats The Musical features classic tracks from Roy Orbison, The Shadows, Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury and plenty more.
Tickets for the 7.30pm evening shows and 2.30pm Wednesday and Saturday matinees are on sale on 0844 871 3024 or atgtickets.com/york
