EASTENDERS’ soap star Gillian Taylforth and her sister Kim Taylforth lead the all-new cast for Girls' Night at Leeds City Varieties from Monday to next Saturday.
The show follows three lifelong friends as they enjoy a wild night out at a karaoke club. They remember the past, laugh, cry and belt out such fabulous anthems as I Will Survive, It's Raining Men and Dancing Queen.
The Taylforth sisters will be joined by Rebecca Wheatley, who played receptionist Amy in Casualty.
Writer Louise Roche considers this cast to be the perfect fit for her target audience: “women of all ages looking for a good time”.
“Gillian, Kim and Rebecca are actresses we've all grown up relating to on television," says Louise. "I love to see them all live on stage – it's a riot!"
Gillian promises a “fantastic night out”.
“It's a great, fun evening of singing, dancing and laughter with the girls that will have you joining in right from the start," she says.
Performance start at 7.30pm, Monday to Thursday; 6pm, 9pm, next Friday; 5pm, 8pm, next Saturday. Box office: 0113 2430808
