HOLLYWOOD couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher sparked debate when they revealed they only wash their children when they can 'see dirt', with many taking to social media to say it is nowhere near enough.
But experts say their relaxed approach to personal hygiene is perfectly acceptable.
I’ll say it is. I think we can be far too clean. Children need to build up immunities and being given a daily scrubbing surely goes against this.
Obviously if your child is caked in mud after playing out, dunk them in the bath, but otherwise a quick facial rub down every day is sufficient. When I was a kid, in summer particularly, we wore our grubbiness like a badge of honour. Sunday was bath night - and we hated it.
