McCOWAN David Stuart Doreen and family would like to thank relatives and friends for their cards and kind words of sympathy following their sad loss and especially those who were able to attend the service at York Crematorium on Friday, May 16th. Thanks to the staff at Armana and Amelia Care Homes whose care and help, especially latterly, was much appreciated and a great comfort. Special thanks to J G Fielder & Sons for the excellent service provided in dealing with our final funeral arrangements, Margaret Jenkins for the wonderful Civil service she delivered and the staff of York & District Indoor Bowls Club for their assistance with the reception. Donations were collected at the funeral service in recognition of York Stroke Unit and which amounted to £1112.86, thank you for everyone's generosity.
