SMURTHWAITE Veronica It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vera Smurthwaite nee Sheridan, aged 85 years. Vera was a loving wife, mother and nana who will be missed greatly. Our family would like to thank Amarna House for their compassion and dignity shown throughout Vera's stay. A service will be held at English Martyrs RC Church, York, on Wednesday, 27th October, at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations can be made to Alzheimer's Society.
