BRIGGS Harry It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Briggs, former Sheriff of York, on the 23rd October aged 92 years. Much loved dad of Mark, treasured father-in-law to Caroline and beloved grandpa to Alex and Freya. Harry will be missed greatly. Funeral service to take place at York Crematorium on Monday 8th November at 12:00pm. Donations can be made to the British Heart Foundation (a plate will be provided at the service). A gathering will be held at the Woodman Inn Bishopthorpe after the service.
