ROWELL Maureen (nee Taylor) Passed away peacefully after a short illness on 27th February 2022, aged 81 years. Devoted wife of the late Derek, much loved mum to Ian and the late Lyn, loved sister and sister-in-law to John and Ann and adored mother-in-law to Julie, also cherished nanna to Dean, Leanne, Amy and Jack and treasured Great-Nanna "Owl" to Layla, Keenan, Freya, Faith and Jacob, auntie and friend to many. Funeral service to be held at Haxby Methodist Church on Wednesday 16th March at 3:30pm, followed by committal at Haxby Cemetery then onto Haxby sports bar to celebrate her life. Family flowers only. Donation plate provided at the service. Donations in lieu to St Leonard's Hospice. (Maureen requested a colourful funeral so black is not essential).
