BROWN Carol December 1947- March 2022 Carol sadly passed away on 2nd March, she was the beloved wife of Duncan, mum to Mark, Neil, Garry and Kate. Adoring grandmother to her six grandchildren. Carol also had strong connections to York City Baths club and taught numerous children to swim through club and school lessons. Funeral service will be held at York Crematorium on Tuesday 22nd March at 12.20pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu made to St. Leonard's Hospice and to Action For Pulmonary Fibrosis.

To Duncan and your beautiful family , my thoughts are with you . I have many happy memories swimming with Carol at York City Baths Club , plus teaching with Carol. Carol has made an imprint on the lives of many through swimming , giving youngsters a life skill , which will never be forgotten.
Carol had such an infectious smile ..,Much love Linda (nee Porter) a childhood friend .

Soo sorry to hear that Carol as passed away. She was a brilliant swimming instructor and lovely person. She taught me in adult swimming lessons and my children at York city baths club. She will be missed by so many people. xxx
