NUTBROWN Charles Robert Charles Robert (Cyril), aged 85. Peacefully at The Meadowbeck Care Home on 28th July. Dearly loved husband of the late Christine, loving father of Graham and Karen and a much loved brother and uncle of Ann and family. Funeral service to take place at York Crematorium on Wednesday 10th August at 3-40pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired for Cancer Research.Tributes

Very sad to hear about "Cyrill's" passing and my sympathies go out to his family. I only knew Cyril as someone who I sat next to for about 5 years at Bootham Crescent but I always found him to be a true gentleman who was both a keen City and Knights supporter. I cannot attend his funeral but I will be thinking about the fun and sporting misery we watched together with our Main Stand friends.
