STORR Janet On August 7th, passed away in hospital after a short illness, aged 80 years. Loving wife of the late Ray, much loved mother of Julie, Joanne and Andrew, mother-in-law of Pete and Adele, beloved grandma of Mandy and Shaun, great-grandma of Brooke, James and Leon and a wonderful sister, sister-in-law, aunty, cousin, neighbour and friend. A celebration of her life will be held at The Hospitium, Museum Gardens, York YO30 7DR on Friday August 26th at 1.45pm followed by interment at New Lane Cemetery, Huntington. Family flowers only please, but donations in Janet's memory may be given to Marie Curie, a plate will be provided at the service. Colourful attire encouraged. We did some amazing things mum. Not reaching the top of the Eiffel tower :-) making it to Diana’s funeral, Paris, Geneva, Budapest, Krakow, Amsterdam, Portugal and Spain to name but a few. So many London meet-ups and trips to Manchester, Oxford, Chippy & Moreton. You were always up for an adventure. I hope your boundless energy carries on in me & I will take it with me on the next part of my journey - although you won’t be there in person your energy is so strong that it will never disappear. Love you mum & thanks for it all :-) x
