HALL Pauline Margaret Died peacefully in Southpark Care Home Acomb on Monday 3rd October 2022. Nun, missionary, teacher, founder and president of York Scribes. She will be sadly missed. Funeral Service to be held at St Olave's Church on Friday 28th October at 12.45pm. All enquiries to J.G.Fielder & Son Funeral Directors, York, Tel 01904 654460.Tributes

Pauline was an inspired and inspiring calligraphy teacher, patient and humorous. Also a friend. RLStevenson prayed for "courage, gaiety, and the quiet mind". Pauline had all these qualities, in generous quantities. I will remember her well, and gratefully. Sending my sympathy to her family and those closest to her. Louise Summers
