SAM Agnes Beloved mother of Jason, Rohan and Lance Chinnian passed away at York Hospital on Friday 14th October 2022. There will be a Requiem Mass held at St Aelred's RC Church at 1pm on Friday 4th November. Please make any donations to York Hospital.

Devastated to hear this. I was just thinking of visiting York and seeking her out. We would always just pick up where we left off. Agnes was at York University with me and helped to change my entire political perspective. She was very courageous, having left her husband and set out on that academic journey in her own unique way while raising three sons in their tiny house. She was a very talented writer with an authentic voice. She felt life very intensely, saw the universe too clearly and sometimes that came at a huge emotional cost. At the same time I can hear her burbling little giggle in my mind. She was a very unique soul.
