SAXTY Dr. Patricia It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Saxty of Aldwark, York, who died peacefully at home aged 83 years. Much loved mother to Ross, Cheryl and Iain, grandmother to Rachel, Beth, Kate, Emma and Leon, and great-grandmother to Harry and Daisy. Dearest aunt to Wendy, Jacqui and Chris and beloved friend to Colin Coates. Her caring, gentle, fun, pragmatic outlook and positive view of life was always a cornerstone for the whole family. She will be very sadly missed by us all. Patricia had a long and successful career as a doctor and consultant working for York Medical Trust. Very much respected, she will be missed by many colleagues and friends. Service in York Cemetery Chapel, Cemetery Road, York on January 26th at 12noon. Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be given to the RNLI and St Leonards Hospice, a plate will be provided at the service.
